John des Rosiers is the Chef/Proprietor of Inovasi, Wisma, and the Otherdoor, three gourmet restaurants located in Lake Bluff, Illinois. With a strong belief in creativity, change, and fresh ingredients from local farms, these three restaurants have living, breathing menus with dynamic, inventive flavors. Inovasi, opened in 2009, is John's take on Contemporary American cuisine. Drawing from an innate curiosity and the skills he has picked up through his time at the CIA, in various kitchens, and experimentation, he infuses classics with a wide array of influences without being restricted by convention. Wisma, meaning 'home', was opened with the idea that you shouldn't have to go to a restaurant to have upscale dining. Also using farm-to-table ingredients, restaurant-grade meals are prepared from scratch daily to bring home and stock your refridgerator. The Otherdoor is the most recent addition, opening in 2013.
